    Maili joined ASA in 2005 as a tester and since then she has taken different testing and software quality related challenges. Some of these include test management and implementing testing processes in various project and organisations, while others are aimet at the greater good – for example teaching software testing at Tallinn University of Technology and TTÜ IT College.

    For Maili, testing is not a profession, it is a lifestyle and mostly effective means for gathering vital information about the stuff that matters. Such as food, people, and … software.

    Kristjan has tried different professions in IT (developer, project manager, administrator) but then he found his real passion - testing and sofware quality. He is our long-term partner in training and accredited ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level trainer.

  • Lloyd Roden (England)

    With more than thirty years in the software industry, Lloyd has worked as a Developer, Test Analyst and Test Manager for a variety of different organisations. From 1999 to 2011 he worked as a consultant/partner within Grove Consultants. In 2011 he set up Lloyd Roden Consultancy, an independent training and consultancy company specialising in software testing.

    His passion is to enthuse, excite and inspire people in the area of software testing and he has enjoyed opportunities to speak at various conferences throughout the world including STAREast, STARWest, EuroSTAR, AsiaSTAR, Belgium Testing Days, Nordic Testing Days, HUSTEF, CzechTest and Better Software as well as Special Interest Groups in software testing in several countries.

    Lloyd has ISTQB Full Advanced certification as well as ISTQB Agile Extension, ASTQB Mobile Tester and ISTQB AL Test Automation Engineer certifications.

  • Chris Van Bael (Belgium)

    Chris is an experienced technical tester and trainer. Over two decades, has grown from from functional tester to test architect, automation engineer, performance tester, test assessor, security tester and trainer.

    In 2017 Chris founded Tesuqa with the focus to help organizations achieve successful and maintainable test automation and improve their security. To further that goal, tesuqa became the first accredited training provider in 2018 for ISTQB Test Automation Engineer in Belgium and the Netherlands.

    In the past, Chris tried to advanced the testing field by working as a board member and secretary for BNTQB – the Belgium and Netherlands Testing Qualification Board. He has reviewed most ISTQB syllabi and is accredited trainer for many ISTQB certifications. With his electronics and technical background, Chris has a keen interest in security matters, especially embedded, IoT and ICS (Industrial Control Systems).

    Sten has software testing and development experiences from Estonia as well as from abroad. His master’s degree in Cyber Security Engineering is from Tallinn University of Technology and he is Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and accredited ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level trainer.

    Ksenija is highly dedicated professional in sofware quality field - from testing to test management and test automation. Ksenija has also been awarded ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate. As trainer, Ksenija can inspire and encourage participants as well as give tons of handful, practical suggestion to conquer testing related problems in day-to-day work.
